Review of the Video Slot “The Wiz” by ELK Provider
In the musical “The Wiz”, Dorothy meets the Wicked Witch of the East and accidentally kills her. Luckily for Dorothy, she’s been taught about a wizard named the Wiz who can help her return home to Manhattan. Along with Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, Nipsey Russell, and the Cowardly Lion, the Wiz saves the day and sets her on the road to return home.
As a result, the game has a high Return to Player value of 96.1% and a medium variance. It’s also mobile-compatible, which is always a plus when choosing a slot. The Wiz is a great choice for players who enjoy a good mix of classic gameplay and unique game design. While the base game can be quite entertaining without the special symbols, it becomes a lot more exciting when players discover all of the features it has to offer.
During its run on Broadway, the musical earned seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. As one of the first black-cast musicals to hit the big time, “The Wiz” set a precedent for the mainstream acceptance of black performers on Broadway. It also enjoyed several revivals in New York, London, San Diego, and The Netherlands. It recently had a limited run at New York City Center, and a television adaptation of the musical was broadcast on NBC on December 3, 2015.
There are many good scenes in this musical. In the Emerald City, Dorothy and her friends run afoul of a roller coaster, giant trash bins, and motorcycle henchmen. Dorothy’s friends are left weakened by her misfortune. As the journey through the Emerald City continues, she meets the Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, and Cowardly Lion. After the final scene, Dorothy finally finds her way home.
